Responsible Gaming: Limits, Self-Exclusion and Where to Get Help
Cricket betting is entertainment. Like any entertainment it has a price, and the price should always be one you can afford without regret. This page sets out the rules we hold ourselves to, the tools you can ask us for, and where to turn if betting has stopped being fun.
Our rules
- 18+ only. We do not create accounts for anyone under 18. If we find an account belongs to a minor, we close it and return the balance to the depositing account.
- No pressure to deposit. We do not run “deposit more to unlock” bonuses, and we never ask for extra deposits to release a withdrawal.
- Limits on request. Tell us a weekly or monthly deposit limit and we will hold you to it, even if you ask us to raise it the same week. Increases take effect only after a 7-day wait.
- Closure on request. Ask us to close your account and we will do it, without argument, after returning any balance.
Know the legal position where you live
Gambling law in India is largely decided by each state, and several states prohibit online real-money gaming. The Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025 restricts online money games at the national level, and its enforcement and the related court cases are still developing. We are not lawyers and this is not legal advice. Before you use any betting platform, check the rules that apply in your state.
Practical habits that protect your money
- Decide your budget before the match starts. Write it down. The number you choose while calm is the only one that counts.
- Withdraw winnings regularly. A large balance sitting on a platform invites bigger stakes. Keep it lean.
- Never chase a loss. Session markets move fast and a losing streak can empty a balance in one over. A loss is a loss; doubling the stake does not undo it.
- Do not bet under the influence or when upset. Both lead to stakes you would not choose sober and calm.
- Keep betting separate from household money. Rent, school fees and EMIs are never a betting budget.
- Take breaks. If you have bet every day of a tournament, skip a few matches. It resets your judgement.
Warning signs
Consider taking a break, or asking us for a limit or closure, if any of these feel familiar:
- You bet more than you planned, more often than not.
- You have borrowed money, or delayed a bill, to deposit.
- You hide how much you bet from family or friends.
- You feel restless or irritable when you cannot bet.
- You bet to recover money you lost betting.
Tools you can ask us for
- Deposit limit: weekly or monthly, your figure. Decreases apply immediately; increases after 7 days.
- Cooling-off period: we pause your account for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. No deposits or bets during the pause.
- Self-exclusion: we close your account for a minimum of 6 months and will not reopen it or create a new one for you during that time.
Request any of these through our contact page. You do not need to give a reason.
Where to get help
If gambling is affecting your finances, relationships or mental health, talk to someone. In India you can contact a mental-health helpline such as Tele-MANAS (14416, free, 24 hours) or iCall (9152987821). Your doctor or a counsellor can also refer you to support for gambling-related problems. Talking about it early makes it much easier to fix.
